The Fountain of Life by Jan van Eyck
The Museo del Prado presented the results of the restoration of Jan van Eyck´s Fountain of Life on October 23rd. This oil painting is unsigned therefore there is some discussion of whether it was really Jan Van Eyck´s work or not. Other speculations include whether it was painted in Spain or in the Flanders. One sure fact is that the painting has called Spain home since the 15th century and was so popular that many artists tried to duplicate it. The restoration work took about 15 months and it has returned brilliance and detail to this historical painting. You can get entrance tickets to the museum here.

One particular authentic Flamenco venue is Cafe de Chinitas. Flamenco shows here transmit the authentic feel and passion since the 70s when it opened.
