Should you have special elementary requirements do not hesitate to visit the beer market where they even offer alcohol-free beer, gluten-free or other soft drinks. With the arrival of good weather brewing events emerge that take us out of the routine and allow us to relax outside in a company of wide range of drinks and tasty foods.

Whatever your beer preference is, you will not be dissappointed!

Flamenco Madrid

From May 16th to June 10th Madrid hosts lots of activities related to Flamenco and Spanish dance at Fernando Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa in Colón square.

This year is the fourth edition of a contest that aims to create a space in which flamenco artists can develop and show their new works while offering a complete program related to this art. This year this festival has a new message: You’ll witness the arrival of #ConMdeMujer ( meaning with M for woman in Spanish) program. It will promote the value and talent of emerging artists as well as the uniqueness of the female artists.

This festival offers a lot more than just flamenco dance and singing. You can also enjoy expositions, conferences and round tables dedicated to the art of flamenco plus 20 other shows.

As part of this event in lots of Flamenco bars (Tablados de Flamenco) the audience can enjoy the clapping, tapping, Spanish guitar playing in interpretation of the most famous artists as well as taste delicious typical Spanish dishes.

If you book our Tapas and Flamenco Evening tour in this season you are very likely to bump into some of the most famous flamenco artists in Spain like José Maya.

Madrid Book Fair

Since 1933, when the first Madrid book fair was organized as part of the Cervantine Week events, it has become one of the most popular gatherings in spring. It takes place in its current location, the Park of el Retiro from 1967. It is about 5-10 minutes walk from the Museo del Prado and to the Botanical Garden. You can visit it from May 25th to June 10th.

There are more than 350 book stalls along the Paseo de Carruajes where readers can discover the latest literature as well as to meet their favorite writers. The organizers and bookshops prepare book-signing sessions featuring the most popular authors.

This is one of the most traditional cultural events in the capital. Children can enjoy themselves as they have a special treat in a pavilion hosting more than 200 activities to promote reading among children. If you are a book lover and like fairs you definitely should not miss the opportunity of visiting Madrid book fair. Apart from the cultural experience you can also join us on our Museo del Prado and Retiro Park Private Tour.

We also take great interest in children by allowing them in our tours. Our Family Tour is specially designed for families with children of all ages they are also welcome on any of our Private Tours.

We are very well aware of the fact that children need different approach when taking them on the tour for this reason we always advice the parents to book these tours instead of our regular Tapas Tour. Remember June 1st was International Children Day.

If you have a family and you are interested in food and culture book our tours, you will not regret it.
