Description

Our Madrid walking tour starts at 10:30 and it will take you to the older part of the city. Madrid was founded by the end of 9th century (around 870) by the emir of Cordoba “Muhammad I”, raising a fortress where Royal Palace now stands. We will take it from there.

We will walk along the streets that witnessed all these events and see the most relevant spots of the city past (and present) life. We’ll see Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Market of San Miguel, Calle Segovia, the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral with their surroundings, the Muslim Walls, the Gardens of Sabattini, Plaza de España and the curious Temple of Debod.

You will grasp the essence of the town with a native guide. Not to miss!
