Description

A toast to Madrid and all the wonderful wines we can enjoy in the Capital city!

This tour starts passing by one of the classic venues of Madrid, just perfect to prepare your palate for a festival of tastes and flavors.

This pretends to be a general introduction to Spanish wines and to our culture. There are 69 Origin Designations for wine in Spain. Different regions and grapes will be relished and enjoyed at the tour. From the dark red Rioja or Ribera del Duero fermented juices to the clear sparkling white wine called Cava formerly grown across the North Eastern Region. We made a great selection of wines  to taste with our local expert guide Mario who will take you to some classic taverns in Madrid and will suggest different wines on the way. The notes on each one will be commented as you enjoy delicious Spanish tapas such as olives, Iberian products, cheese and or a delicious croquette.

This is also a practical and useful introduction to the center of Madrid counting with a native guide by your side. You will learn about the specific subtleties of each “vino tinto, vino blanco, vermuth or cava” as you taste them. We can comment the flavors as we stroll across the narrow streets and historical corners of Madrid. Each wine has a history behind and we want to show it to you with a Madrilenian tour guide. After this wine experience we’re sure you’ll be ready to discover other Spanish wines by yourself.
