Bump Green
Bump Green lives up to its name and practices its philosophy of sustainable, healthy and tasty vegan food. The kitchen is run by two talented and passionate chefs, David Ariza and Jordi Bresó, who created the restaurant´s menu card. David is an expert in wild plants, rice and fish while Jordi is a gifted baker, expert in Foodpairing and a promoter of slow food movement in Valencia. The restaurant has even coined Mondays as #meatlessmondays or #lunessincarne in Spanish. You can reserve a table online here or order a home delivery. We recommend the 100% vegetarian burger Beyond Burger (which you can choose with gluten-free buns). Beyond burger is prepared from pea proteins and beet juice to give the patty its characteristic color accompanied with Parmesan, pasteurized tomato, sichimi, vegan sauce and crispy onion. Bacoa Burger
Bacoa is a restaurant created by the Asturian Paula Lera and and Australian Brad Ainsworth. This restaurant is a classical burger restaurant with meaty offers, however their vegetarian options are superbly elaborated. Their star vegetarian burger, aptly name Roast Beef will convert most carnivores. It is made from beet, quinoa, accompanied by grilled beets, barbecue sauce and homemade vegan aioli. Mad Mad Vegan
Mad Mad Vegan is located on the first floor of San Ildefonso Market in Madrid. Therefore, the restaurant has a street food feel. The stall is compact at 3m2 and its owner, Gabriel´s intention is to offer vegetarian fast food on the go! Here salsas and hummus are homemade, and they offer fun veggie twists on traditional fast food like calamari rings, Berlin wurst and crunchy chicken with delicious veggie interpretations. We recommend their traditional vegan burgers, the Mad Signature with Beyond Burger and the Rock ‘n’ Chick’n which are served with a secret Mad Mad Vegan sauce and chips that you can swop for sweet potato chips. The rations are generous and you will certainly be filled and content.
